So I finally got a volunteer for my "live-in" program...
His name is Ken Pavia and he's an agent for MMA fighters. He's based out of California and is coming to stay with me for two weeks.
I'm picking him up from the airport in about 7 hours and basically he'll be tagging along with me for the time he's here. I'll be doing the fast also, so whatever I eat, he'll eat. When I go to train, he's coming too.
I figured I'd start a topic about it now and I'll be updating with pics, recipes, and training schedules as much as possible. Ken also will be doing blogs for various websites.
Attention: anyone who's interested in doing this in the near future- I need a down payment up front to hold the apartment for February or else my dad is going to rent it out. He already has someone lined up. The total cost is $1500 plus cost of food ($1000 for the apartment, the rest for gym/training fees). _________________ When You're Here, You're Family }:-) |

I picked Ken up from the airport today about 9 AM and we started almost immediately. He hydrated his blood with some special-tea from Jubb's Longevity (Super C, honey , lemon, hot water, sea salt, irish moss).
Then we took some Evacu-Ease (evacuative/ intestinal restorative) and Digest Aid (assists digestion (tonic)) on fruit to hide the taste somewhat. These herbal formulas are most effective when mixed with saliva and if you're popping pills you'd be better off blending them with water and then drinking them or chewing them. The reason is that parotid hormone tags elements you bring in so that they're incorporated as friendly.
Then we did castor packs over the liver/gallbladder and then over the spleen. Tomorrow I'll take pics showing how to do it. Castor oil is a natural anti-inflammatory and by decreasing the amount of inflammatory proteins (fibrin, globulin) in the blood there is more room for more albumen, the super-transporter. Albumen transports all nutrient to the cell and all cell waste away and high albumen is an indicator of intelligence and health.
A couple hours later we drank a little Apple Cider Vinegar with agave, sea salt, a little lemon, and water. This substance ACV manages pH and softens bile stones, preparing them for flushing out.
After that we made brazil nut milk and used it for a strawberry-cacao smoothie. Ken said he was buzzing. After eating we did the herbs again and this time we also ate Wildzymes (food enzymes for digestive support).
Ken took a nap while I did some chores around the house. I woke him up at about 3:30 PM and we made our way into NYC to visit Jubb's Longevity. Ken got put right to work and I gave him some samples of the various cheeses on flax crackers. After a few hours we went with Dr. Jubb and one of the wonderful workers, Seoul, to the 10th Street Baths. We spent about two hours in the Russian Radiant Room and even did some platza. It was amazing! When we got back to the shop it was late so we just stocked up on some food for the week. Dr. Jubb even recommended the Wild Sarsaparilla formula to help Ken get rid of his cough.
Here's Ken at the shop spreading the Papaya Wrap:
Here's pics of Ken and I taken earlier today. I weighed in around 180 and Ken was 197 lbs.

Today Ken woke up at 192 lbs. Not bad for 1 day (5 lbs.)!
After tea and herbs we went to Serra JiuJitsu East Meadow Academy. Ken and I repped some moves and then I rolled with Grape Ape and Billy HO, both accomplished purple belts and fantastic competitors.
After each of us showered we had an ACV drink with orange and raspberry and then my wife picked us up. We then went to Whole Foods Market in Jericho to get some stuff for the week. We stocked up on fruits to sandwich the herbs in because they have a strong taste and its best to mix them with saliva. I kind of like the taste of the herbs so I take them straight.
One of the amazing foods we got is Aloe Leaf. Dr. Jubb recommended a special drink for Ken to help liquefy things in his intestines and get them moving. The ingredients are Aloe Leaf (the gel inside), grapefruit (with the white stuff (pith) and a small amount of skin), raw agave, sun-dried sea salt, flax meal, and irish sea moss (which I ran out of).
After shopping Ken had leftover soup from Jubb's Longevity last night and some flax crackers. Then we took the herbs and did a castor pack. As I did some food prep and chores Ken relaxed and surfed the web. The guy is ALWAYS working!
We made it down to Ray Longo's International Martial Arts Academy for a stock kickboxing workout that took about an hour and a half. As we cooled down in the gym we drank the Aloe and Grapefruit drink. Ken had 7 voicemails!
We just got home about 10 PM and had some dinner. I had breakfast cereal that we picked up from Jubb's with the brazil nut milk Ken and I made. I can't quite get it to taste as delicious as it does at the shop. Ken had a feast if I may say so myself!
That's two kinds of sushi I made: one is with dill-pickled asparagus and the other is pickled daikon radish. The other two items we picked up at Jubb's Longevity (menu). On the left is Alfredo Lasagna and on the right is Brajiola. Here's Ken enjoying the food:
So that's pretty much it for day 2. We're going to take some more herbs and do a castor pack then hit the hay. I will really take pics tomorrow demonstrating how to do the castor pack. _________________ When You're Here, You're Family }:-) |

Interesting to see how this turns out. Good luck.
How much training is Ken doing along with the new dieting.
Maybe you can you suggest a liquid that is easy to come by in say....Costa Rica....that will clean out my system.
Thanks.

I'd love to do this sometime in the future Luke, it's just a matter of saving the money and finding the time. Hopefully you'll continue to do this program for some time to come because it'll take me a while to be in a position to do it. |

I'd be intrigued to see two fighters try this program to see their feelings on the effects of eating Lifefood on their bodies vs. their usual diet. It'd be cool to get a guy like Mac Danzig who already eats vegan but not lifefood to see how the slight altering of his eating habits would make him feel vs. another fighter with a more typical meat based diet.
I'm not suggesting he's anything but a phenomenal althlete but I cringed a bit when Wanderlei Silva said his diet is all meat and carbs. I don't know if it would matter or not, but sometimes I wonder when you see a naturally gifted mma fighter how much a different diet would or wouldn't up their game. |

Hey Luke I'm probably not telling you anything you dont already know but if you dont do something to correct your posture you may end up with back and neck pain as well as being more susceptible to injury in that shoulder.
I'm going to take a wild guess and say your right foot is pronated too.
I honestly cant comprehend how someone who eats only Lifefood and trains as much as you do can weigh 180.It really blows my mind |

Many years of fight training will give you a posture like that. He's actually A LOT better than he was a couple of years ago (and actually he looks more off in the pics due to physiological stressors from the holidays and he's just starting his 14 day fast, uh feast). The pics only show his static posture; what's more important is the ability to functionally move out of the right-handed dominant posture. Once he detoxes and fully recovers from the holiday stress (and being a new dad and all), his static posture usually improves.
Thanks for your input. Good eye. Remember, there's more to postural assessment than what you see statically. And it's not always all physical. It's always best to look at the whole picture. _________________ www.jocsonhealth.com
